Self-represented litigants are individuals who are not represented by a lawyer in a court case. Sometimes these individuals are also referred to as pro se litigants.  A person should always attempt to hire a qualified lawyer to represent him or her in a Family Court case. Family Court cases are often confusing and complex, so a self-represented individual may be at a significant disadvantage in attempting to present his or her case to the court.

 

The link below directs you to forms that have been approved by the Missouri Supreme Court for use by pro se litigants. These forms are not interactive. They are included in the interactve forms packages found on the “Smart” forms page. Litigants are strongly encouraged to use the interactive versions of these forms when possible.
